I've spent about 100 dollars searching for the best lace option for my 3 pair of Danner boots. I'm a cop and I need the best. The boots are the best but almost every other lace option out there is better. Don't get me wrong if Danner improves their laces they will be the first outfitter I go to, but currently that's just not the case.

My husband received his new pair of Danner boots right after Christmas.... 2 days ago while putting on the boots, the shoelace frayed and almost split in half. BOOTS ARE GREAT, shoelaces.... well they stink. :-/

I wear the Fort Lewis boots and absolutely love them. I wear them almost every day for over 13hrs. at a time but I'm lucky to get a month out of the laces before they break. I am a cop and Air Guardsmen so let's face it I don't exactly work all that hard at either job.

LACES FRAYED QUICKLY AND DIDN'T LAST SIX MONTHS ALREADY REPLACED THEM AND HAVING TO A SECOND TIME IN LESS THAN ONE YEAR. DISAPPOINTED IN THE LACES . THE TELSON BOOTS ARE GREAT AFTER A BREAK IN PERIOD. WILL DEFINETLY PURCHASE THE BOOTS AGAIN.
