Leather and Fabric Waterproofing Gel
Protect your investment with the 3-step Danner Boot Care System. This product is step 2: Waterproofing Gel.
- 1. Danner Cleaning Gel cleans without residues that can spoil waterproofing.
- 2. Danner Waterproofing Gel for full-grain leather* is breathable, which means it blocks water from the outside while letting moisture escape from the inside. This is nice for all boots but is especially important for Gore-Tex styles.
- 3. Danner Conditioner softens, revives, and waterproofs full-grain leather and fabric materials such as Cordura® and nylon.

Comments about Danner Leather and Fabric Waterproofing Gel:
Really great stuff!
I like to apply the gel once or twice a month, simply because of what I put my boots through. It really keeps water, snow, and ice off of my boots.
A great side effect of the gel is that it really shines up my boots.
How I apply the gel: at first I just used the bottle to drop it on, but that can get a little messy. Now I use a 10CC oral syringe to accurately apply the gel to where I need it.
I do not just put it anywhere:
First, I fill the syringe with about 4 CCs (per boot) of the gel.
Then, I apply a liberal amount on the stitching of my soles and let it soak in.
Third, I take a paper-towel and use the excess gel from the stitching, and wipe the gel onto the rest of the boots.
I'm sure everyone has their own system of application but I find this suits me best.
I've used the gel about four times so far and it really works.
Thanks Danner.

Comments about Danner Leather and Fabric Waterproofing Gel:
Used on Danner Gortex leather boots. Easy to apply, long lasting. No saturated leather, even when it looks like the color is wearing through. Is pricy but worth it
