Used these socks exclusively for my tour in Iraq and for the 3 months of training prior and I have been home for 6 months and wear them daily. Still have all 12 pairs I started with.

I work on a Hunting ranch in Central Texas. The terrain is very rough and very inclined. I use these socks during the summer months when temps. go well above 100. They have never failed me. After a year they haven't worn and they have kept their shape. They stay positioned in my Fort Lewis' and keep me as dry as is possible at 100 degrees. Along with their heavyweight counterparts when it's in the 20s, these are the last socks I'll ever buy.

These socks would be great if they held up. They are good for a couple of wash cycles. They shrink and get crispy. Common I know with the wool products but if you follow the recommended care instructions they should be better than that.
